1. Information We Collect
We collect information that you voluntarily provide when using the App. This includes:
• Health check-in data: sleep quality, stress levels, mood, hot flash frequency, and energy levels
• Workout completion status and exercise preferences
• Body measurements such as weight
• Step counts and daily activity data
• Nutrition logging including protein intake and calorie tracking
• Equipment preferences and fitness goals
• Account information such as your name and email address
2. How Your Data Is Stored
Your health and fitness data is stored locally on your device using encrypted storage. When you create an account, your data is also synced to our secure cloud database to enable backup, cross-device access, and account recovery. All data transmitted between your device and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard TLS encryption.
3. Health Data Handling
We recognise that your health information is particularly sensitive. PeriPlan treats all health-related data, including perimenopause symptom tracking, workout data, and body measurements, with the highest level of care. Your personal health data is never sold to third parties under any circumstances. Health data is used solely to provide and improve the App's core functionality, such as generating your daily check-in scores, personalising workout recommendations, and tracking your progress over time.
4. Analytics
We collect anonymous usage analytics to understand how the App is used and to improve the user experience. This includes information such as which features are most popular, session duration, and general usage patterns. These analytics are fully anonymised and aggregated. No personal health data, symptom scores, or individually identifiable information is included in our analytics data.
5. Third-Party Services
PeriPlan uses the following third-party services to operate the App:
• Supabase: Cloud database and authentication services for secure data storage and account management
• RevenueCat: Subscription and in-app purchase management to process premium subscriptions
• App marketplace billing services: Payment processing for in-app purchases and subscriptions
Each of these services operates under its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review their respective policies. We only share the minimum data necessary to operate each service.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data and associated health information for as long as your account remains active. If you choose to delete your account, all personal data and health records will be permanently removed from our servers within 30 days of your request. Anonymised, aggregated analytics data that cannot be linked back to you may be retained indefinitely. You may request deletion of your data at any time by contacting us at support@periplan.app or through the App's account settings.
7. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
• Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Correction: Request that we correct any inaccurate or incomplete data
• Deletion: Request that we delete your personal data
• Export: Request a portable copy of your data in a machine-readable format
• Restriction: Request that we limit how we process your data

8. CCPA/GDPR Compliance
If you are a resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or California, you have additional rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), respectively. These include:
• Right to Know: You may request details about the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you
• Right to Delete: You may request the deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions
• Right to Opt Out: You may opt out of the sale of your personal information. PeriPlan does not sell personal information, but you may still exercise this right
• Right to Non-Discrimination: We will not discriminate against you for exercising any of your privacy rights
9. Children's Privacy
PeriPlan is not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 years of age. If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a person under 18, we will take steps to delete that information promptly. 10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. If we make material changes, we will notify you through an in-app notification prior to the changes taking effect. Your continued use of PeriPlan after the effective date of a revised Privacy Policy constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
